In partnership with a Filipino leader who works to train rural "village" pastors, TLI will begin a new, non-formal training location on the northern island of Luzon just a few hours outside of Manila. New Tribes Philippines has a camp near Olongapo used for training their national and international missionaries, with dorms and classrooms that will host our training. The pastors who will participate in the classes come from rural locations throughout the island of Luzon. They are already in pastoral ministry roles but have little or no theological education.

Course 2 - Knowing the Bible's StoryCOURSE DESCRIPTION
This course aims to help trainees see and appreciate the Christ-centered story that unfolds in Scripture, describe its stages, and articulate its big idea: For his glory, God is reconciling the world to himself under King Jesus. These skills will help trainees as they preach and teach, enabling them to explain how any passage and its book relate to God’s plan and work. Thus, trainees will be better equipped for building up the body of Christ and spreading the knowledge of Christ everywhere.
