We work with a group of churches from Wisconsin who have committed to fill all teachers necessary for our trips. Our national partner is the staff of Tutapona Trauma Counseling. Many of the students we work with have gone through Tutapona's trauma rehab program and are leading churches in the region. In conjunction with and as an accompaniment to TLI's teaching, two of the pastors from Wisconsin work with a few of the students to train them intentionally in church planting and discipleship.

Course 2: Knowing the Bible's Story

You know when go to study theology, you're filled with all kinds ... you're given all kinds of tools and of course knowledge to understand God's word and to proclaim it to the church. That's kind of like a buffet, and when you have theological training, you get a buffet. And when you have a buffet, you get really full. And one of the things I noticed in the US is a lot of people come to theological training already pretty full. Whereas our students here in Vietnam, they come to theological training pretty hungry and in real need of the knowledge of the word and skills to understand it and proclaim it and apply it to the church and proclaim the gospel
