North Center Church

TLI is partnering with North Center Church in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, to provide training for preachers and aspiring preachers in the principles and skills of expository preaching. North Center Church is a member of the Southern Baptist denomination and its leadership and membership is multicultural with several African nations represented. Pastor Jeremiah Knoop, our local partner, desires to help other preachers grow in their ability to exposit the scriptures. He has traveled with TLI to train pastors in Hawaii and is committed to helping train diaspora pastors in the Minneapolis area as well.

The Brooklyn Park cohort contains participants with roots in Africa, Eastern Europe, and the Americas. Three times a year TLI and North Center Church have a two-day preaching workshop covering different skills and genres of Scripture. In addition, many of these brothers meet regularly with Jeremiah to discuss the Scriptures and how to preach. Please pray with us that this would spark a growing desire for the faithful study and preaching of God’s word to strengthen these brothers and their churches in and around the Minneapolis area.
