Jesus in Athens
We need your help to broaden the impact of this crucial project, which has already seen a tremendous response. We want to make it available on streaming services for free so as many people as possible can watch it.
Jesus in Athens is the compelling story of the ways Christians are serving migrants, and how Muslims are encountering the love of God and Christians, believing the gospel, and forming churches.
In giving to this project, you are helping us to cover the costs of production and distribution. You may know that the company we used to put the film on Amazon Video and iTunes is filing for bankruptcy, and that the fees we paid them, as well as all sales on streaming services for the first four months of the film have been lost.
In response, we have decided to do something radical. We are going to make it free for people by making it available on Netflix and Amazon Prime. This film has had tremendous impact wherever it has been shown. Just imagine what would happen if people could stream it for free in multiple languages around the world!
It will also be available sometime in the future to purchase on streaming services, with 100% of the proceeds going to mission work.
The film can only be purchased in DVD format on Amazon right now or directly from TLI at a bulk-rate.
In 2015, over a million migrants entered Europe, most of them through Greece. But on their journey, something quite unexpected has occurred. Religious conversions and revival broke out, especially amongst Muslims fleeing their war-torn countries.
The documentary was directed by Pete Hansen, who also produced the well-known Dispatches from the Front Series.
