In partnership with a Filipino leader who works to train rural "village" pastors, TLI will begin a new, non-formal training location on the northern island of Luzon just a few hours outside of Manila. New Tribes Philippines has a camp near Olongapo used for training their national and international missionaries, with dorms and classrooms that will host our training. The pastors who will participate in the classes come from rural locations throughout the island of Luzon. They are already in pastoral ministry roles, but have little or no theological education.

Course 3: Narrative & Law (Genesis-Exodus)COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course 3 equips the trainees to understand narrative and law accurately and to communicate passages in these genres clearly and relevantly. Genesis and Exodus have been chosen as representatives of these genres. Sample passages from each will be the focus (e.g., Gen. 2; 22; 28; Exod. 20; 23; 29).
