Romania Summer 2012 – May 24 - June 4, 2012 (FULL) Location: Iasi, Romania Trip Leader: Andrei Sava (view current team members) Synopsis: Iasi is the second largest city in Romania, with a population of 400.000 people, majority of them nominal Eastern Orthodox Christians. Actually Iasi is like a "Mecca" for Eastern Orthodoxy in Eastern Europe and the spiritual oppression it's very high. They are very few Evangelicals (less than 4000 -Baptists, Penticostals, Charismatics and Brethren all together) and most of the leaders of the churches there are untrained. We will be working with Second Baptist Church of Iasi to host a pastors conference. You will be teaching the TLI hermeneutics curriculum. You will primarily be working with Muslim background believers who have very little training, teaching the Biblical Theology class from TLI curriculum. The team will also have a change to work with the leading evangelical church in Greece to promote unity and cooperation among the Greek and Ethnic churches. We need teachers for an Old Testament book, New Testament Book, Pauline Epistles, Hermeneutics (How to Study the Bible) and Introduction to Missions. India November 2012 – November, 2012 Location: India Trip Leader: Vijay Meesala (view current team members) Synopsis: You will be working with Reach All Nations, a ministry that plants churches in unreached areas in Southeast Asia, by aiding their pastors to receive training. We have a long-term commitment to this ministry and desire to see their pastors given solid training. During the day you will be meeting with pastors. In the evening you will be speaking at large open air meetings. You will also have an opportunity to preach in churches.
