Rizal, Philippines is a five-hour drive southwest from Puerto Princesa, the capital of Palawan. Our local partners, Pastor Rodney Dela Torre and his wife, Nena, are exceptional servants. On average, we host 35 pastors and leaders, both men and women. Although some trainees have biblical training, most of these pastors and leaders are homegrown with minimal formal or informal training. Some of these pastors are church planters, and many serve in tribal areas where the gospel is very limited, and the need is enormous.

Course 8 - Understanding Apocalyptic Literature (Revelation)COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course 8 equips trainees to understand apocalyptic writing and communicate it to others. What did the authors of these texts intend them to convey? How do they fit in the Bible? How do they apply to believers and churches today? Revelation exemplifies this type of writing—this “genre.” If trainees learn how to understand and communicate Revelation, they can apply the same skills to other apocalyptic writing.
