TLI has focused on providing theological training to pastors in countries outside of the West in formal and non-formal settings. This role would help lead a ministry to train immigrant pastors and leaders in Western countries. There are currently pockets of immigrants in major cities who do not have access to theological training. We want to partner with churches and ministries to provide training to those who desire to be trained. You must develop your own personal support network.

Qualifications

Director of Oral Learner Training
TLI is looking for qualified man to develop training material and locations for oral learners The position is based in the United States and requires you to take 4-5 international trips a year. The ideal candidate would have expertise in this field and has either 10 years of pastoral experience in the United States or is a missionary who is returning to the US and looking for a new opportunity to serve the global church.While in the US you would work on writing and research projects for TLI. You must develop your own personal support network and be willing to live in Minneapolis.

2 Curriculum Developers

- Work on a team of writers and researchers to write and refine TLI's curriculum.
- Devise ways that TLI curriculum can be best taught to oral learners.
- Edit, revise, and add to existing curriculum as determined by the Director of Curriculum Development.
- Teaching: Travel overseas 1-2 times to train pastors.

The ideal candidate has a terminal degree in Church History, a deep commitment to and experience in the local church, and proven competency teaching cross-culturally. While in the US you would work on writing and research projects for TLI, and assist national partners at formal sites to achieve institutional excellence. You must develop your own personal support network, and be willing to live in Minneapolis.

TLI is looking for someone with a PhD in a theological studies, anthropology, or missions to be a full-time researcher on contemporary mission issues, practices, and trends. This position is based in Minneapolis. The ideal candidate would have a blend of cross-cultural experience and academic training. He must be competent in current research practices. You must raise your own personal support.

VP Pioneer Church Planting
Overview
TLI is expanding its mission beyond theological education to reaching unreached people groups. This position requires someone with a self-starter personality who is willing to take risks and provide oversight to the launch of this new endeavor. The director should be well-informed of the numerous church-planting movements and be able to theologically discern and biblically articulate a philosophy and methodology of church planting. The director should have well-developed discernment regarding the most popular church-planting movement methodologies and evangelism strategies. He must be able to articulate what are the factors that lead an assembled group of Christians to be legitimately considered a New Testament church.

- Work with the Director of Recruiting to recruit church planting teams.
- Along with regional directors and missionary care directors, appoint, prepare and oversee individuals and teams to reach unreached people groups.

- 3-4 International trips a year.
