A little update about the comings and goings of TLI.
We went to Reformed Seminary in Orlando to speak to students about TLI. A few of them have already applied. A team was in UAE and Oman for 10 days to see if there was demand for future training. You can read a GREAT article about the trip on the TGC website here.Another team went to Greece to set up a training center that will open in January.
We have 57 people signed up to go on short-term trips in 2012. To compare, last year at this time we had 0 people signed up to go in 2011. Ben Stafford, our new Short-Term Ministries Director will be taking over the logistics in January. Teams head out to Greece, Uganda and UAE in January.
We added a new staff member two weeks ago and hope to add another this month. Their job will be to lead 6 trips a year, advocate for TLI while in the states and help us with research and writing.
We have two missionaries heading out this spring. One to Honduras and the other to Uganda.
We are writing the Attributes of God curriculum and hope to have it completed by December 15. We should have it done along with the Hermeneutics curriculum by the end of this month.
